If you are passionate about photography and want to capture the most evocative places on the Romagna coast, here are some ideas for visiting the best photographic points of interest.
An exciting experience that leads to the discovery of four extraordinary places: the mouth of the historic Rubicone river, Villa Riccarda where the famous Romagna mia was composed, the lights of the streets of Gatteo Mare which pay homage to Raoul and Secondo Casadei with their verses and the Heart of Romagna, the selfie point in Gatteo Mare.
First step
On the border between San Mauro Mare and Gatteo there is the pedestrian bridge over the Rubicone. Photograph it from different angles to capture the backdrop of the mouth of the Rubicone and the bust of Julius Caesar in the foreground. Don’t forget to touch his nose, it brings good luck!
The Gatteo Mare beach begins a few steps away with a walk to the dock. From here we suggest a photo at dawn: the bronze colors mix to form the perfect picture of Gatteo at the rising sun. The calm waters and warm colors will make your shot very suggestive.
Second step
Gatteo is the Capital of Liscio, the place of origin of Secondo and Raoul Casadei, and hosts several symbolic places for lovers of this musical genre: you can photograph the verses of Romagna mia in via I Maggio on the facade of Villa Riccarda, the house where Secondo composed the the anthem of Romagna, or wait for the evening when the lighting turn on in Viale Giulio Cesare and Viale delle Nazioni. The verses of Romagna capitale and Romagna mia will create original and luminous choreographies for your souvenir shots.
Third step
Finally, get your camera ready for the Heart of Romagna in Piazza Romagna mia. The structure allows you to sit and take souvenir photos framed by a red heart against the background of a cobalt blue sky.
