Description: this year, as has become tradition, Gatteo has organized a series of events to spend the Christmas period in good company and joy. There is something for all tastes: a big party to light up the Christmas tree, comic entertainment for children, animated puppet shows, workshops to create fun Christmas decorations, concerts and theatrical performances, the nativity scene in Gatteo Mare… And absolutely not to be missed is the appointment on 1 January: in the afternoon everyone in the square to re-toast to the new year to the rhythm of good music!

DECEMBER 1
IL NATALE SI ACCENDE A SANT’ANGELO
PIAZZA FRACASSI, SANT’ANGELO DI GATTEO, FROM 3:30 PM
A big party in Sant’Angelo to kick off the Christmas period initiatives throughout the Gatteo area. The program includes the clown show for families OTTO PANZER IN “MONK CLOWN” and street games. Followed by lots of music with the “dance choreographies” of the greatest hits from the 80s to the present day and entertainment by the MOKA CLUB. The highlight of the afternoon will be the long-awaited lighting of the large Christmas tree. To warm up the atmosphere there will also be rich refreshments based on mulled wine, cantarelle, piadina and prosciutto by the associations Vitainsieme, Centro Auser Giulio Cesare and Uniti per Gatteo.

INAUGURATION OF THE NATIVITY SCENE “IL PRESEPE POPOLARE IN ROMAGNA – LA FERITA CHE SANGUINA”

Inauguration of the animated artistic Nativity scene created by the Fantini family and inspired by the Popular Nativity Scene in Romagna. Snack for everyone by the Centro Auser Giulio Cesare and the Associazione Uniti per Gatteo.
ON THE WALK FOR THE NATIVITY SCENE
ORATORIO SAN ROCCO, GATTEO, 8:00 PM
Walk through the town by the group “La Ligàza” to admire the nativity scenes set up. Departure from the Oratorio San Rocco with a stop in Piazza Vesi to listen to Christmas carols under the illuminated tree. Arrival at the gardens of the Don Ghinelli Institute with refreshments offered to participants.

BUON ANNO GATTEO

Gatteo greets the new year with the now traditional January 1st afternoon party in Piazza Vesi. The show will start at 3:00 PM with Liscio with Moreno il Biondo, Pamela Antolini and Andrea Barbanera of the Castellina Pasi orchestra, Roberta Cappelletti and Patrizia Ceccarelli. The live afternoon will continue with great Italian and international music: it will start with the Harley Max Tribute band, one of the most acclaimed 883 cover bands, which will make us relive the music of Max Pezzali from his debut with 883 to his most famous songs as a soloist. Immediately after it will be the turn of Rock In Movie, who will offer a tribute to the great hits that have formed the soundtrack of the most famous and beloved films of all time. Food stands by the Associazione Uniti per Gatteo, Centro Auser Giulio Cesare and Castello e dintorni.
