Description: Gatteo Mare also this year reconfirms the appointment with the now traditional nativity scene that adorns the central square of the town.
The animated artistic nativity scene designed and created by Marco Fantini and his family is inspired by the popular nativity scenes in Romagna.
To commemorate the 800 years that have passed since the reception of the stigmata by Saint Francis, the nativity scene welcomes the passage of the Saint in a village of Romagna (the Malatesta village of Longiano) during the Holy Christmas.
Our territory also feels wounded and wonders why, perhaps it awaits an answer not only from the technicians, but from those who, like the poor brother of all, have received in his flesh a seal of light full of Truth.
The nativity scene, covered by a tensile structure, can be visited from December 7th to January 12th 2025 in Piazza della Libertà in Gatteo Mare.
The event is promoted by the Uniti per Gatteo Association in collaboration with the Auser Giulio Cesare Recreation Center and the Telemaco Association, which oversees the structure and is located inside with an information stand.
The event is part of the rich Christmas calendar by ‘Natale a Gatteo’.
