Description: The Culture Department of the Gatteo Municipality offers a varied review of nine street art and puppet shows dedicated to families.
On Tuesdays in the Arena del Castello in Gatteo and on Fridays in Via Binda in Fiumicino it will be possible to attend the shows free of charge.
In case of bad weather the shows will be postponed.

Luigi Ciotta in ‘TUTTI IN VALIGIA’ – Clownery, juggling, balancing
An imaginary journey set in the 1930s that combines physical theater, comedy, and circus skills.
Between suitcases, surprising encounters, and old-world atmospheres, the protagonist takes the audience on a wordless tale that engages children and adults, alternating poetic moments with hilarious situations.

Fiumicino – Via Binda
Ma.re. Company with ‘INTORNO’ – Juggling, acrobatics
Between poetic acrobatics, laughter and moments of amazement, “Intorno” is a show that makes your head spin and lights the heart. For those who love daydreaming and want to be moved.

Teatro Dodici Lune in ‘IL BUONO, LO GNOMO E IL CATTIVO’ – Puppets, storytellers and concertina
The evocative sound of a concertina introduces the story of “La Capra Margolla” an ancient Tuscan tale, told in the manner of the Storytellers with a hand-painted cloth. The story is that of a poor man forced by the Devil to confront his own greed and to discover in the end that the love of his children is his greatest good. An hilarious comedy with ancient yet ever-present elements that, thanks to the rhythm and irony of puppet theatre, will entertain audiences of adults and children alike.

Millestorie in ‘IL MERCANTE DI INEZIE’ – Juggling, Commedia dell’Arte, Magic
Zanesh, an unusual Venetian merchant of the last millennium, carries around his cart full of mysteries. He, who has crossed the East, has returned laden with secrets and wonders gathered along the Silk Road, and is here to share with you all the most ancient stupors and the finest visual arts. A daring journey marked by beauty, amidst jokes and banter in the style of Commedia dell’arte.

Andrea Farnetani in ‘GUSTAVO LA VITA’ – Magic, juggling, puppetry
Gustavo La Vita is a righteous and very sweet clown, with the curiosity of a child. His light-hearted desire to play with the severity of life often clashes with the disappointment of failure, but Gustavo is a clown and, as such, must enchant with skill, engage with empathy and turn mistakes into laughter.

La Cumpa, students from the CTM Academy in ‘INSIDE ANNA’ – Children’s theatre
Anna is 10 years old; she’s a little girl. She goes to school, has fun, thinks, and keeps a diary in which she writes down everything that happens. At school, they discuss a topic: organ donation, and she forms her own opinion. But what do her own organs think about it?
You’ll find out, yes, because they too talk, reflect, argue – but then make up.
An interactive, unusual show in which imagination takes centre stage, delicately aligning with the theme of giving.

Gambeinspalla Teatro in ‘IL SOGNO’ – Soap bubbles and clowning
An old-fashioned cart driven by a somewhat eccentric mime will take you on a journey steeped in the past, blending dream and reality, romance and comedy. Looking up, you’ll be able to watch these floating spirits transform from small to large, then into giants with a thousand colourful reflections and filled with smoke… and finally, you’ll be enveloped by thousands of tiny soap bubbles.

Acqualtateatro with ‘LA LUMACA LUCILLA’ – Balance act with sphere, juggling, storytelling
What is the world like through the eyes of a snail? In this show, one of them will recount the passing of the seasons and many little adventures in a poetic, unusual and engaging way.
Lucilla the snail teaches us to find joy in the little things and to appreciate slowness. It is through slowness – “being” in the present, listening to our own rhythm – that we learn to appreciate things for what they are worth.

Magicomico with ‘MAGO LIDIO CON LA D’ – Magic
A street and stage magic show featuring plenty of audience interaction. No one knows what to expect, but one thing is certain: you’ll go home happy.
