Influenced by a Christian view of life, Var Youth Association aims at giving young boys and girls the chance to show and develop their potential by helping people in educational and recreational centres and charitable institutions, as well. That’s the reason why its name VAR – Volontari Aiuto Responsabili – defines both Voluntary Responsile Aid and two main objectives:
1- Giving young boys and girls between the age of 14 and 18 the opportunity to do valuable charitable work at charity institutes, nursery schools, summer – and sports centres, oratories, homes for the elderly and disabled and also do afterschool activities with children. Volunteering will encourage young people’s personal and social growth;
2- Prompting young people to volunteer, since young people’s work and fresh takes on the world are immensively helpful in modern society. All the different initiatives by Var mainly take place during the summertime

The association organizes: 
– Art exhibition
– Tournaments: five-a-side football and volleyball
– Raffles
– Charity markets
-High school internship agreement with the Marie Curie Institute of Savignano sul Rubicone
– “Orto amico” (vegetable garden) Project with the Marie Curie Institute of Savignano sul Rubicone
– Cultural projects taken by local high schools with school internships

Important note: Every year they organise a Summer School at the seaside (Cesenatico) for primary schools children, middle school children and teenagers (6-18) and School Camps in the mountains in summer and winter
